About Us
The Compound
The Most Pet Friendly House in America is part of the BarkPark compound located in rustic Laurel Canyon, a creative enclave located in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles, CA.
BarkPark has a fresh water creek that runs through its safely fenced grounds; there is lots of woodsy area to romp and explore. We house an indoor cattery, a petcurean test kitchen, designated training and big and small dog areas and accommodations for our volunteers and guests.
The Foster Program
We exclusively foster rescued pets for Rescues Rock and the Laurel Canyon Safe Paws program. Our foster program is in compliance with LA City laws and houses no more than three adult dogs and 3 adult cats at one time and as many kittens and puppies under 4 months of age that we can assist in caring for to alleviate the burden on
LA Animal Services shelters.
We focus on at risk homeless pets that need a little extra TLC, medical attention and abandoned kittens/pups that require bottle feeding.
Pets adopted from our foster program will be dog and cat tolerant--if not friendly-- family friendly and have good, if not great manners!

Dogs
Billie
Billie was a street gal who came into rescue with four pups. A super protective mama upon arrival, Billie has shown herself to be a lovely lady who gets along with cats, dogs and children. She's approx 3 yo, Spayed and UTD on Vaccines
VIVI
The baby of the bunch. Vivi's dad must have been part Dalmatian. She's got some gorgeous spots on her snow white coat. A very sweet and timid disposition. Vivi is the demure pup from the litter and expected to be about 40 lbs when fully grown. She's spayed and UTD on vaccines.
Penny
Penny Lane had a rough start. She arrived with four breaks to her two back legs Ishe was thrown from a moving car!)
As if that wasn't enough, Penny's hips are both dislocated. At six months old she will be better evaluated for surgery. Penny LOVES having visitors. Come visit her anytime. (email to schedule a play date!)
Cats
Elton
Orange Tabby who wants to take on the world. Happy and healthy little dude. He'd like to be adopted with his sister, Kiki Dee.
Neutered. UTD on vaccines.
Kiki Dee
She's the ying to Elton's yang.. A sweet little lady who wants to help you file your taxes, write your presentation or edit your film. Obsessed with hanging out by the laptop and soaking up her humans vibes... and cuddling up with her brother when it's nap time. Kiki is spayed and UTD on vaccines.
Tigger
Tigger's a big beautiful traditional looking Maine Coon. He's about 18 lbs and loves chasing his litter mates, Buster and Cori. These three cats were left behind when their owner died.
